‘Teen Mom’ Mackenzie McKee Gets Nasty Insult For New Twins’ Names

Mackenzie McKee of Teen Mom fame recently welcomed two baby girls into the world this past June. Recently, however, the star received an insulting comment concerning her daughters’ names. Since then, she has released a response on social media, with fans weighing in on the issue.
Mackenzie McKee Gave Birth To Two Baby Girls On June 2, 2025
Mackenzie first gained recognition after being cast on 16 and Pregnant in 2011. Since then, she was later cast in the spin-offs, Teen Mom 3 and Teen Mom OG.
In her personal life, Mackenzie and then-boyfriend, Josh McKee, welcomed their son, Gannon Dewayne McKee in 2011. The two later married in 2013.
The two would welcome a daughter, Jaxie Taylor, and another son, Broncs Weston, in 2014 and 2016, respectively. In 2022, Mackenzie and Josh announced they had separated.
Mackenzie later announced that she had become engaged to Jamaican soccer player Khesanio Hall in 2024. On June 2, 2025, she gave birth to their twin daughters, Ja’Kharie Angie Hall and Ja’Meikah Angella Hall.
Recently, on TikTok, Mackenzie shared a video where she received some criticism over her twin daughters’ new names. In the video, Mackenzie was responding to a comment that was posted as a caption. It read, “Them names ugly period idc what color.”
Mackenzie did not verbally respond to the comment. In the short video, she merely sat wide-eyed, licking her lips and clicking her tongue. Presumably, the star didn’t want to dignify the comment with an answer.
Fans Shared Mixed Reactions, With Many Coming To Mackenzie’s Defense
Taking to the comments, fans shared mixed reactions to the post. Some shared that they agreed with the commenter and didn’t like the names. As one fan wrote, “Going from Gannon Dewayne and Broncs Weston to Ja’Kharie and Ja’Meikah is WILD behavior.”
Others defended Mackenzie, feeling that this was insulting her newborns. As one comment shared, “WOW this comment section did NOT pass the vibes. I think their names are BEAUTIFUL just like they are. Someone always has a problem with something.”
