Kate Middleton reportedly has no plans to reach out to Prince Harry amid his ongoing rift with her husband, Prince William.
Experts claim the Prince of Wales has been left “deeply hurt” by Harry’s actions since leaving life as a working royal in 2020.
Kate Middleton’s sense of ‘betrayal’ at Prince Harry
The Princess of Wales is reportedly set to stand by her husband amid his alleged feud with Harry, according to a royal expert. She also has no plans to reach out to the duke for “peace talks”, despite once enjoying a close relationship.
Speaking to US Weekly, a source reportedly claimed that William and Kate “just don’t understand why Harry doesn’t stay quiet” after his royal exit.
That’s the betrayal William won’t forget… But Harry never seems to think about the consequences.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield explained to Fox News Digital: “Catherine has been nothing but supportive of her husband – and that’s exactly why Prince William is so deeply hurt.
“His pain doesn’t come from personal insults or headlines. It comes from his instinct to protect the woman he loves… But what cuts the deepest is Harry’s treatment of Catherine. She’s always loved him, always treated him like a little brother. That’s the betrayal William won’t forget… But Harry never seems to think about the consequences.”
Kate Middleton won’t be getting involved in Harry and William’s ‘rift’
However, broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard has said that Kate won’t be getting involved in the reported rift.
This is despite being “saddened” by it.
“Catherine and Harry shared a fun humour and were often seen giggling together at events. Sadly and upsettingly, Princess Catherine was dragged into the public negative narrative, which was a real smack around the face for the kind sister-in-law who tried hard to be the peacemaker between the brothers,” she told Fox News Digital.
Kate’s confession about Lilibet
Despite being born back in 2021, it’s believed that Princess Kate still hasn’t met her niece, Princess Lilibet.
Lilibet, who turned four earlier this month, has only reportedly visited the UK once in her life. This was back in 2022, during the late Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee.
During an interview in 2021, Kate was asked whether she had any wishes for Lilibet.
“I wish her all the very best,” she said. “I can’t wait to meet her, because we haven’t yet… met her yet, so hopefully that will be soon.”
However, when asked whether she’d FaceTimed the young royal, Kate replied, saying: “No, I haven’t. No.”
Speaking to HELLO! magazine last year, royal correspondent Danielle Stacey said: “It has never been officially confirmed whether the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children have met Princess Lilibet. They may have spent some time privately with their niece during her first visit to the UK in June 2022 to celebrate the late queen’s platinum jubilee.
“However, Prince Harry only shared details about his children’s reunion with their grandmother in his memoir, Spare.”
