Teen Mom Couple Splits Amid Series Cancellation?
As of now, the fate of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter is up in the air. The cast has allegedly not gotten the green light for another season, and some fans feel the show has run its course. More so, viewers are over the storylines and think the stars are boring. Supposedly, MTV had fully intended to end the series once the kids turned sixteen, and now, they all are or are approaching that age. So, to end it would make sense, but at the same time, so much has happened this past season that could be entertaining to follow.
Amid the possible cancellation, one couple may have split after eight years of on-and-off dating. Cory Wharton and Taylor Selfridge appear to be off again. They share two children, Mila and Maya, and appear to be very happy together as of late. There were photos of the little family with him calling Taylor his wife. That led to speculation that they had tied the knot, but since then, the two unfollowed each other on social media. Then, Cory posted a cryptic message following that:
“The crumbs, you only see them when the cookie crumble.”
These were lyrics from Lil Wayne’s single, “Let It All Work.” So, if they have split, Cory may be holding out hope for a reconciliation.
He was the one who initially shared that Teen Mom had been put on an indefinite pause. Moreover, he believed that Mackenzie McKee spilling that she was expecting twins on The Drew Barrymore Show was a telltale sign. Had the show been renewed, Cory believed that it would have been something to be initially announced during filming.
