Teen Mom‘s Jenelle Evans Recently Talked About Her Son Jase On TikTok
Jenelle Evans was introduced to fans of the Teen Mom franchise after appearing on the second season of 16 & Pregnant. In 2009, she gave birth to her son, Jace.
Shortly after his birth, Jace was placed in the custody of his grandmother, Barbara. In 2023, Jenelle was awarded custody of her son. However, after running away, he was placed in foster care.
In a recent update with fans on TikTok, Jenelle recently shared that she sent Jace to live with his father. The Teen Mom star claimed it was in “the best interest for my child.”
“Jace is now staying with his father but also his grandmother on his other side, whom he has not seen since he was a baby. You guys are looking at it as a negative situation, but everyone behind closed doors is looking at it as a positive thing for him.”
Jenelle continued, “So, you guys can say all you want. You can say I’m not taking care of my kids. Being a mother is doing the best interest for your child, and I am going the best interest for my child. Thank you.”
“We never wanted to put it in front of the media and explain it because it was Jace’s privacy. Now we get to the point where it’s happened too many times, multiple incidents for years and years and years. Something had to be done.”

Fans Have Been Divided Over Jenelle Sharing Stories About Catelynn’s Daughter
In one image, A carousel post opened up with a screenshot of Evan’s social media that had a post of Catelynn’s own social media account. In the post, “I feel soooo bad for poor Jace.” A caption below wrote, “Ohhh, I feel so bad for poor Carly,” in reference to Catelynn’s daughter who was placed up for adoption.
This was followed by an X post from Jenelle. It wrote, “Mentioning my son’s name for clout? I don’t do that when it comes to Carly @CatelynnLowell.” The third and final image, however, showed another account of Jenelle’s sharing links of stories concerning Catelynn and Carly.
