Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are pictured in an adorable conversation with a British family at an Invictus Games event.
The couple spoke in particular with the family’s sons; Benjamin Evans, 12, and six-year-old Sebastian at the skeleton competition at Whistler Sliding Centre. Their father, Mike, was a competitor in the event, which saw hundreds of spectators gather despite the bitter -9C temperature.
The boys’ mum, Rachel, told us: “The boys were talking to Meghan about how they went on a tube ride (snow tubing) and got stuck. They met her before at the last Games in Düsseldorf.” The family, from Lincoln, cheered on Mike at the event, the latest in a string of competitions since the Games began on Saturday.
Whistler is a picturesque ski resort north of Vancouver. Thousands have descended on it this week for Prince Harry’s latest Invictus Games, which the royal says “demonstrates the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and demonstrate life beyond disability”.

Already, there have been smiles, laughter and tears shed between Meghan and Harry at the Games. After months of solo work appearances and difficult moments for the couple – from the devastating LA wildfires to Donald Trump’s blistering remarks – the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’ famously inseperable bond is back in full force.
Meghan, 43, has shown that she couldn’t be prouder of her husband. The pair have enjoyed the show from the stands, danced away to pop hits and cosied up with champagne. A passionate on-stage kiss was shared by the affectionate duo, and the couple have also made a rare comments about their young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
And, on Monday, Harry joked Meghan was going to sing in front of a 1,000-strong crowd at the Invictus Games. The royal had been introduced on stage at a welcoming ceremony in Whistler, Canada, by his pal Michael Bublé, who sang Feeling Good. Meghan joined Harry on stage at the end of his speech before he joked: “Now she’s going to sing!”
Welcoming Harry on stage, Canadian singer Michael said: “I know how difficult something like this is, so I wanted to make sure I did this right. Without the incredible effort of this young man, none of this would have happened, so please welcvome my friend, Prince Harry.”
