Teen Mom’s Ryan Edwards Takes Son Bentley Golfing as They Spend Time Together amid Sobriety Journey

Teen Mom OG‘s Ryan Edwards is working on repairing his relationship with his son.
On Monday, the reality TV alum, 35, posted a photo to his Instagram of himself and his son Bentley, 15, as the two played golf together. Both wear matching polos and hats and smile together while they place their arms around each other.
Edwards shares his son with ex Maci Bookout, 32. He is also dad to daughter Stella, 3, and son Jagger, 5, whom he shares with estranged wife MacKenzie Edwards.
Earlier this month, Edwards revealed on the Teen Mom: Next Chapter reunion that he was five months sober. In an episode of Teen Mom: Next Chapter over the summer, he told Bookout that he planned to go to a rehab center in Austin for 30-45 days.
In April, Edwards was arrested for violating the terms of his probation.
The former television personality was initially charged with possession of a controlled substance and a DUI
The arrest came after Edwards was ordered to rehab after being arrested in March on charges involving Edwards. According to a March 1 press release from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department in Tennessee, Edwards was arrested on charges of stalking and violation of an order of protection.
He pled guilty to harassment while additional charges including his possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of an order protection and stalking were dismissed.
As part of the plea deal, the former reality star was required to complete a rehab treatment program or serve a sentence of 11 months and 29 days, the records stated
He was required to wear a GPS monitor and have no contact with Edwards. “except as allowed by the circuit court.” He was also not allowed to have social media relating to her, per the records.
The arrest came two days after Edwards reportedly filed for divorce from the former reality star and obtained a restraining order against him. She was also granted temporary custody of the couple’s children, the outlet reported.
