Meghan Markle ‘will divorce Prince Harry’ if William ‘strips them of titles,’ predicts estranged brother
In a new interview, Thomas Markle Jr, Meghan Markle’s estranged half-brother, has claimed that the Duchess of Sussex will divorce Prince Harry if Prince William ever decides to strip the couple of their remaining royal titles.
The bold prediction was made during a segment on TalkTV on May 8.
Thomas Jr spoke with host Kevin O’Sullivan, reigniting debate about the Sussexes’ fractured relationship with the royal family and with Meghan’s own family.
Meghan Markle’s estranged brother sits down for interview
During the interview, Thomas Jr didn’t hold back. He expressed his frustration with Prince Harry and suggested he has lost himself in the years since marrying Meghan.
“Harry’s a changed man,” Thomas claimed. “I’ve read millions of comments: What happened to Harry? This poor man. Now, people don’t even feel sorry for Harry because he continues to do it over and over again.
I think once the titles get stripped, I think Harry’s done.
“How bad does this have to be? What’s going on? What dirt does she have on you? Is she blackmailing you? What is going on? Does she keep your nuts in a jar in her purse? I don’t know.”
Host Kevin O’Sullivan chimed in with a pointed observation.
He said: “She cut you out of her life. She cut your dad out of her life. She cut your sister out of her life ruthlessly, as I said earlier. Do you think she may do the same to Harry when she feels she doesn’t need him anymore?”

“My opinion on that, Kevin, is that I think it’s straightforward, and I think it’s gonna happen,” Thomas responded bluntly. “I think because of the threat of William taking the titles away. And rightfully so, he should. If somebody attacked my wife like that while she was ill, that’s something you can never forgive.”
Thomas referenced Prince Harry and Meghan’s public criticisms of the royal family, which resurfaced again recently amid Harry’s appeals for reconciliation.
He added: “Somebody talks so much trash about you, burns every single bridge, and then begs for forgiveness because their popularity sucks and they’re in the gutter. Then you try and go crawling back and make this big story up. It’s such garbage. But I think once the titles get stripped, I think Harry’s done.”

Despite Thomas Jr’s prediction, Harry and Meghan seem happier than ever. Meghan recently gushed that she and Harry feel back in the “honeymoon period” in their marriage.

Following their 2020 exit from royal duties, Prince Harry and Meghan retained their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles but were barred from using the HRH title publicly.
However, they still have their HRH titles and it was revealed recently that Meghan has used it privately in a gift note to a friend.
There has since been growing public pressure on Prince William, as heir to the throne, to formally strip the couple of their remaining HRH titles, especially after Harry’s memoir Spare, and their Netflix series publicly criticised the monarchy.
