From the pristine kitchen to the manicured garden and the beautiful California scenery – With Love, Meghan should be the perfect escape from reality.
The eight-part lifestyle series dropped on Netflix today in what is being seen as a make-or-break moment for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s mulit-million deal Netflix deal. The eight episodes, which are each 33 minutes long, see the Duchess of Sussex inviting famous friends to a California estate, where they swap cooking, gardening and hosting tips.
With Love, Meghan could have really hit the spot as no doubt many like me would love to know what life is really like for the Sussexes in their California mansion. Could Meghan give a glimpse at the crazy mornings she talks of while rushing to make breakfast for the family?
Would it be a crime to show her kitchen with dirty pots and pans piling up in the sink? Could she show herself flustered as her recipe doesn’t go to plan?
Even though she insists she’s not in the pursuit of perfection, the glossy-looking show appears too polished. Of course, there is nothing wrong with wanting to put forward the best version of yourself – or your kitchen. However, no matter how hard you try, nobody is that perfect or edited all of the time – and there’s nothing wrong with Meghan admitting that.
