Emmerdale has teased major trouble for Ross Barton in the show’s latest cliffhanger.
The bad boy found himself in a precarious situation in Friday’s episode after being coerced into making a deal with Kim Tate.
Ross has returned to his criminal antics since returning to the village, but he picked the wrong target when he made a failed attempt to steal Kim’s car from The HOP.
After being forced to flee from the scene empty-handed, Ross was wrong-footed when Kim paid a menacing visit to Butler’s Farm to confront him. She warned that his attempted crime had been caught on CCTV – and she wanted payback.

In true Kim style, she informed Ross that she expected a big favour in return for her silence over the situation.
Ross pointed out that he’d only get a warning if Kim went to the police, but she promised him lucrative work in the future if he agreed to help her.
For now, Kim had only one demand: She needed Ross’s assistance to get rid of her estranged husband Will Taylor amid their escalating divorce battle.
A flabbergasted Ross asked: “So, to be clear, you are asking me to kill your husband?”

Kim replied: “No, of course not! Don’t be an idiot. Just do whatever it takes to make him leave the village and never come back. Know what I’m saying?”
Later, Ross complied with Kim’s demands and donned a balaclava to attack Will after dark.
In a subsequent scuffle, Will fought back more fiercely than Ross had expected and uncovered the identity of his assailant when Ross’s balaclava came off.
The showdown ended with a shocking outcome as Will was pushed backwards, causing him to hit his head on a rock on the ground.
As Ross stood over a lifeless Will, he feared the consequences as his deal with Kim had gone terribly wrong. Is Will going to recover – and could Ross be arrested?
