‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Takes Legal Action Against David Eason Amid Arrest
Jenelle Evans of Teen Mom fame has revealed that she will take legal action against her estranged husband David Eason. The two have faced a messy split since their recent legal separation. This follows his recent arrest after going against a domestic violence restraining order.
Jenelle Evans & David Eason Had Been Married For Six Years
Evans and Eason first met in 2015 and married in 2017. However, Evans filed for legal separation and divorce from Eason early this year.
In a statement with In Touch, “I’ve tried so hard to find peace and move forward, but David’s harassment just doesn’t stop. He, his girlfriend, and their friends keep interfering in my life, and it’s affecting me and my family more than anyone realizes.”
Reportedly, the emailed statement was made on her behalf by a representative. As it continued, “I’m left with no choice now but to take legal action to put an end to this. I didn’t want things to go this far, but if they’re going to keep dragging me into these toxic games, I’ll see them in court. I just want to be able to heal and live in peace.”
Eason had been arrested last week. He has since been released after making bail, having been on a $1,000 bond.
Evans reportedly spoke with TMZ back in October over Eason going against a court order. At the time, she claimed Eason, his girlfriend, and three others broke into her North Carolina property.
Evans’ Motorcycles Were Taken From The Property
Allegedly, Eason and the others used bolt-cutters to cut off the locks to the gate. Breaking inside her garage, they loaded some of her property onto a trailer. This included Evans’ motorcycles. Allegedly, Eason could also be seen trying to disable one of the surveillance cameras recording the footage.
The Teen Mom star had surveillance video of the incident. She claimed that he was in violation of a court order made during her divorce from Eason. As it reads, he is prohibited from setting foot on the property.
Evans was not at home at the time and was made aware of the situation by a deputy. It was confirmed that Eason was only allowed to take his work tools.
Since their legal separation, Evans has cited various issues leading up to the split. This has included “substance abuse” issues and Eason’s refusal to work. The two also share a daughter together, Ensley, who was born in early 2017. In Touch also noted that Evans was quoted as saying, “Throughout the duration of the marriage of the parties, the defendant has exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards the plaintiff.”
