Sister Wives Christine Brown has faced backlash from her children over her relationship with David Wooley. The children feel that Christine should slow down with David. In addition, they are uncomfortable with the amount of PDA that the couple engages in. Overall the kids were supportive of Christine moving on, they wish she would let up a little bit.
Christine Brown Not Slowing Down
In the Oct 20th episode of Sister Wives Christine Brown sits down with her children and discusses her relationship with David Wooley. The children had some feedback for Christine that she was not ready for. Ysabel and Paedon had the most to say about Christine’s romantic relationship. Ysabel let her mom know that she could eventually adapt to seeing her mom with David, but she’d need some time.
Paedon clarified for his mom that the kids were not upset. He said, “Mom, acknowledging it’s going fast isn’t us telling you that it’s bad.” He added “It’s just it’s just being observant. It’s just saying, ‘Oh, this is going really fast, It’s not us telling you to stop or slow down.” Christine seemed relieved and replied to Paedon “Oh, good, because I wouldn’t.”
Christine Brown told her children that she was very happy with how her relationship was progressing with David Wooley. She expressed that she was not willing to slow down. Christine shared with her fans that 8 months later she and Wooley tied the knot. Brown said that he was the love of her life.
Brown And Wooley Pack On The PDA
David Wooley and Christine Brown are not shy about their love for one another and frequently engage in PDA. Browns children have shared that they prefer not to see the couple be physically affectionate for one another. Mykelti pointed out that she and her siblings were not used to seeing their mom engage in PDA as physical affection was non-existent with their father Kody Brown.
Mykelti said she thought the PDA between Christine and David was healthy, however, Ysabel had a different opinion. Ysabel pretended to throw up, expressing that she was grossed out by her mom’s behavior with her new boyfriend. Paedon commented, “I’m happy for you, but I’d rather not be in the same room.” Christine said she and boo David would not be stopping the PDA.
The Other Brown’s Weigh In
Kody Brown and his ex-wives Meri and Janelle chime in on the relationship between Christine Brown and David Wooley. Christine and Kody were not physically affectionate with one another. Janelle said that her relationship with Kody did include physical affection. However, Janelle admitted that she is not comfortable showing physical affection in front of other individuals.
Meri Brown shared that there should be limits when it comes to PDA. She says “Like, be respectful.” Kody Brown said that because he had four wives physical displays of affection felt “Awkward” and “Never quite right.” He went on to explain that he didn’t think it was fair to the wives. Kody adds that now he only has one wife he is all about physical displays of affection. Kody said, “I actually … I like doing PDA now, but Robyn’s very shy.”
