Prince William and Kate share unusual ‘public display of affection’ as fans call it ‘magical’
Members of the Royal Family do not tend to show their love for one another in public, but fans insist Kate Middleton and Prince William shared a sweet but subtle 'PDA' moment in a resurfaced clip
Prince William and Kate Middleton have left fans gushing after sharing what appeared to be a sweet display of affection.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 42, don’t tend to show off their love for one another in public. But in a resurfaced video, some royal enthusiasts reckon the pair demonstrated just how much they care for each other with a series of subtle gestures.
Taking to TikTok, the account @royalfamilyslife shared a clip of the couple at the No Time To Die premiere back in September 2021. William sported a suit and bowtie, while Kate stunned in a sequinned gold dress, which she paired with statement earrings and an up do. The future king could be seen moving his hand towards Kate’s back.
Text written on top of the clip read: “Notice Kate’s subtle hand movement reminding her sweet Prince William of No PDA.” But William continued to keep his hand on Kate as he guided her off a stage. The text continued: “And she quickly makes up for it with a magical look of love.”
Captioning the video, the original poster wrote: “She is beautiful and he noticed he was married to a goddess.” And other fans agreed. Taking to the comments, one wrote: “I love the way he looks at her.” Another added: “She is the epitome of grace, elegance, and class.”
Meanwhile a third chimed in: “William and Catherine are fabulous,” and another seconded: “Kate looks absolutely drop dead gorgeous in that dress.”
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams shed some light on the gesture, adding that public displays of affection aren’t common for the Firm. He said: “PDA isn’t normally associated with the Royal Family.
“However they make their own rules. What strikes me about this photo is how stunning Kate looks and how glamorous they are as a couple.”
