Prince William reportedly has regrets regarding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure from royal life. Apparently, an inside source claims that Prince William harbours regret over how it was handled.
Prince William’s ‘regret’ over Harry and Meghan
A source explained to In Touch: “William has lost all his patience when it comes to Harry and Meghan. He refuses to get into a public back and forth with his brother about any of this. It’s getting old at this point. He feels that Harry made his decision to walk away, and he should abide by the consequences that come with that.”
Prince William, 42, and Harry, 40, are believed to have been estranged for years.
Trouble reportedly initially emerged in 2018 when Harry was said to be upset with Prince William for not being welcoming enough to Meghan Markle.
Harry later touched on the struggles in his relationship with his brother in his Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan.
It was here that he said it was “terrifying” to have his brother “scream and shout” after he and Meghan chose to step back from royal duties.

The Waleses VS The Sussexes
The strain between the Waleses and the Sussexes is said to have worsened in recent weeks.
It comes after Meghan was blasted for privately referring to herself as HRH (Her Royal Highness) despite no longer being a working royal.
It has even been said that Prince William is considering stripping Harry and Meghan of their titles officially when he becomes king.
Meghan has been the victim of major backlash after her pal, CEO of IT Cosmetics Jamie Kern Lima, shared a gift Meghan had previously sent her.
The gift included a card where Meghan signed it: “With the Compliments of HRH The Duchess of Sussex.”
Royal commentators have since chimed in, with many criticising Meghan’s use of HRH.
Meghan Markle slammed for use of HRH
However, others pointed out that she hasn’t used it commercially, so it is acceptable.
“Harry and Meghan retain their HRH titles; however, by agreement, they do not use them for commercial purposes. While they do not publicly use ‘HRH,’ this was a personal gift, and their titles remain,” a source for Meghan explained.
Does Prince William like Meghan Markle?
Although rumours often swirl regarding the royals and whether they are on good terms or not, it is believed that William did like Meghan.
It was said that he had welcomed her into the royal fold as he would any other member.
However, it has equally been reported that William tried to slow down the relationship between Prince Harry and Meghan.
William even allegedly encouraged Harry not to ask Meghan to marry him.
Other reports claim there was tension between Meghan and Kate, Princess of Wales, with the two even getting into a disagreement ahead of Meghan’s wedding day.
Princess Charlotte was said to have been left crying over her ill-fitting bridesmaid dress back in 2018.
This reportedly resulted in Meghan being reduced to tears herself after Kate allegedly demanded all the bridesmaid dresses be remade.
This likely didn’t help William’s bond – or lack thereof – with Meghan.
