Prince Harry has faced fresh backlash following his comments about King Charles amid his health woes.
It’s no secret that there is a divide in the royal family when it comes to Prince Harry. But after his recent bombshell BBC interview, it seems the things he said may have been out of “fury”.
But it looks like the royal rift is continuing, and while Harry hopes for a reconciliation, the family are reportedly “blackballing” him due to the lack of trust.

What happened between Prince Harry and King Charles?
After Harry recently lost his Court of Appeal battle to do with his security in the UK, he sat down with the BBC and spoke about his family.
Harry recently lost his battle for taxpayer-funded armed police and bodyguards for when he visits the UK.
There have been reports of a rift in the family for the last five years, after Harry left the royal life behind and moved to the US. But in his latest interview, he revealed a lot more than anyone expected.
He claimed that his father Charles no longer speaks to him. Harry also said he doesn’t know “how much longer” his father has to live amid his cancer treatment. But, the duke said he would happily reconcile with his family.
I think he might now realise that he went too far in talking about his father’s health.
Now, a royal expert has told the Mirror that Harry went “too far” with his comments about his dad.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told the outlet: “I suspect that Harry said more than he had perhaps intended because he was consumed with anger that the court decision had gone against him. When the court ruling went the opposite way, he was, in his own words, ‘gutted and devastated’.
“And he was clearly seething with fury. That’s rarely the best time to air your thoughts. I think he might now realise that he went too far in talking about his father’s health.”
Jennie admitted that the “clear invasion of privacy” is hypocritical as he wishes for privacy for his own family. And due to his words, he may have “lost the support” of the British public.

King Charles’ ‘clear message’ to Prince Harry
A few days after Harry’s bombshell interview, members of the royal family took to the balcony of Buckingham Palace for VE Day celebrations. A royal expert told Royal Insider that the king sent a “clear message” to Harry.
Former royal butler Grant Harrold said: “It’s very positive to see the Prince and Princess of Wales, their children, Princess Anne with her husband and Edward and Sophie on the balcony with the king and queen.”
While Grant explained it’s now a “smaller royal family”, the line-up on the balcony actually sends a “clear message” to Harry.
Speaking on behalf of Slingo, Grant said: “This is the royal family, this is it now. What we saw on the balcony is the future of the monarchy. It’s a very important signal to them, but also to the country and the world.”
Since stepping down from their royal duties in 2020, Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have spoken publicly about their rift with the royal family.
From tell-all interviews, books and docuseries, their ventures have seemingly deepened the alleged rift. And Harry’s most recent comments about Charles don’t appear to have helped.
