Two characters could be out to get Kim Tate on Emmerdale, with some sinister plans possibly rumbled by viewers.
Dawn Taylor and Joe Tate have been accused of targeting Kim in separate agendas, amid recent drama in the Dales. Dawn Taylor hinted she might harm Kim in the latest episode, fans believed, as she visited her dad Will Taylor’s grave and asked for his forgiveness.
Will d.i.e.d on the show over Christmas after a heart attack, but a recent showdown with wife Kim led to him filming a video where he claimed Kim had caused his d.e.a.t.h. The footage was left on a USB for Dawn to watch if he p.a.s.s.e.d away.
Dawn wasted no time accusing her stepmother of k.i.l.l.i.n.g her dad to which she denied, while Kim and Joe have yet to tell Dawn what really happened when Will d.i.e.d. Will suffered a heart attack after his original plan to take down Kim was exposed by Joe, with Joe claiming he was on Kim’s side.
Will was dying but Kim thought he was faking it, and by the time the ambulance got there he was d.e.a.d. Joe and Kim are keeping this from Dawn, and when Kim decided it was time to confess the truth he told her not to.
Kim questioned his reasons for this and whether he was trying to cover his own tracks. Joe downplayed this, stating that he thought it was best for Kim to keep Dawn on side, not wanting her to lose the family she had left.

But fans have long suspected Joe’s real reasons for returning to the village after six years away, with many convinced he will plot against Kim despite claiming to be supporting her. Then there’s Dawn, with the scene of her at the grave also showing her holding a bottle of ketamine.
Fans now believe she is about to poison Kim, taking revenge for her father’s d.e.a.t.h. So is Kim in real danger? As for Joe, are fans right and is he tricking Kim and actually planning a brutal payback after she ordered his d.e.a.t.h back in 2018?
Taking to X, one fan said of Dawn: “I think maybe she’ll poison Kim with it,” as another said: ” Oh yes a good one! But IF she tries to poison Queen Kim then she better watch her back as Kim will not hold back her revenge!”
As for Joe, one fan pointed out: “That Joe is up to something.” Another posted: “Was it definitely the coroner’s office on the phone though. Where was Joe when she pinched the phone off Kim?”
