Emmerdale spoilers: Ruby’s secret exposed, sad April update and jaw-dropping Wendy twist
There’s some really big moments coming up on Emmerdale next week, spoilers have revealed.
Ruby Miligan’s world implodes as her DNA bombshell comes out – but will Anthony Fox’s sickening past finally come to light too? It could be the moment fans have been waiting for as Caleb Miligan learns a devastating truth.
Elsewhere, there’s two teens potentially at risk in an alarming spoiler. We also have Charity Dingle and Ross Barton teaming up to try and get rid of returning character Joe Tate – causing upset for one character.
Marlon Dingle issues some worrying news about his m.i.s.s.i.n.g teen daughter April Windsor, with more on that storyline revealed too. There’s turmoil for Cain Dingle, and Wendy Posner features in a jaw-dropping twist ahead of her reported exit from the ITV soap.
Let’s start with the huge moment of the week ahead, as Caleb finds out the truth it seems about his wife Ruby’s past. Only recently we uncovered that Ruby had been s.e.x.u.a.l.l.y a.b.u.s.e.d as a teenager by her own father Anthony.
On her 16th birthday she was r.a.p.e.d by her father, while she was seeing Caleb around this point and fell pregnant. Ruby confided in sister-in-law Chas Dingle in a recent episode as she revealed her abuse for the first time, and confessed she wasn’t sure if Caleb was the biological father of their daughter Steph.

After scenes have seen Ruby secretly ordering a DNA test and sending it off, next week Ruby prepares to read the results. After interruptions, she ends up deciding to destroy the results – deciding they do not matter.
But things take a dramatic turn when Caleb goes looking in Ruby’s handbag for some painkillers and he finds the results. Realising the contents of the envelope, it seems he takes a look – but what do they say?
As Ruby comes across a tearful Caleb holding the envelope, will she be forced to reveal what happened to her and that Anthony abused her? Might Chas realise the truth about Ruby’s a.b.u.s.e..r?
Elsewhere next week, April remains m.i.s.s.i.n.g after running away on Christmas Day. She was last seen onscreen getting into the back of a mystery car, with the driver not shown – amid theories from fans it could be Anthony.
Marlon has a horrifying dream that his daughter is d.e.a.d, and he’s rattled. Things only worsen when the search for April and the awareness the family wants is overshadowed by an article in the paper about April’s stepmother Rhona Goskirk’s past.
With Rhona facing accusations as being to blame for April going m.i.s.s.i.n.g she’s devastated, but Marlon is distracted by his fears. Broken, he shares that there is every chance his daughter has d.i.e.d.

There’s an update from the liaison officer, as Marlon searches the streets of Leeds to try and find any clues about where April may have gone. Also next week, Joe Tate has his work cut out as he tries to get brother Noah Dingle back on side.
Noah had feared his sibling was d.e.a.d when he vanished six years ago. Joe is keen to get back on Noah’s good side, only for Noah’s mother Charity Dingle to drive a wedge. She gets Ross to scare off Joe and it works, but it’s Noah left facing heartbreak once again.
Wendy is also in for shocking scenes next week, as it seems to be confirmed she’s behind the nasty article about Rhona. Her next victim is sealed, as she targets Ella Forster in a bid to save her own skin.
When the Rhona article blows up, Wendy is blackmailed by the journalist seemingly about her own past, and soon Wendy gets the idea of revealing all on Ella. It’s said Wendy’s life and career looks set to implode, so is this what leads to her exit?
Elsewhere in the village next week Anthony begins tutoring teens Angelica and Arthur, but are either of them in danger? Cain is in turmoil amid Moira beginning her radiotherapy, as he remains guilty over his fling with Ruby.
