Shocking Arrest in ‘Emmerdale’ Following April Windsor’s Mysterious Disappearance!
Marlon’s heart dropped over Christmas when he went up to April’s bedroom, only to find she wasn’t there.
The teenage found herself caught in the middle of Ross Barton’s (Michael Parr) trouble with Jade a few weeks ago, which resulted in her being held over the same building her mother, Donna Windsor, fell from.
Viewers saw that he was entwined in an illegal fighting and gambling ring that had been organised by the gangster.
In the aftermath, April has spiralled, going against her father’s wishes when it comes to seeing Ross.
‘There’s that moment that I can only imagine, that blank space where she’s supposed to be on that day of all days’, actor Mark Charnock said.
‘It’s not a building horror it’s just like [claps] Full 10. There’s nothing right about that picture, her empty room on that day, no matter what they’ve been through there’s no way that room could or should be empty.
‘And she’s gone. He makes an initial panicky run around the village. We’re at that point where it’s unimaginable horror and it’s instant and full.’
In tonight’s episode, Marlon watched on from afar as Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) launched a search party with the other villagers.
This really is every parent’s worst nightmare, and he urged the police to go and talk to Ross.
At Butler’s Farm, Ross was open and honest about how Jade kidnapped April some weeks ago, and admitted to being part of the illegal activities. Little did he know, they’d been working to uncover her deeds for quite a while.
Devastated that Ross hadn’t been arrested, Marlon charges over and demanded that he be taken to Jade.
Ross was adamant that such an encounter would only lead to more trouble, and he was right.
