Emmerdale fans ‘unmask’ character plotting against Kim – and it’s not Joe or Jamie
Some Emmerdale fans have guessed a major twist in the latest Kim Tate plot, with a mystery character targeting her.
With the help of Kim’s partner Will Taylor and her financial adviser Peter, someone is pulling the strings and plotting to destroy Kim. Will has faked a reunion with her, plotting to fleece her and bring her down.
But he isn’t the mastermind and neither is Peter, with a mystery character, tipped to be a former character, plotting to take her down for once and for all. The rumour mill is spinning as for who it could be, with recent guesses being her son Jamie Tate who despises her, and Joe Tate who she almost had k.i.l.l.e.d a few years ago.
Jean Tate is another name thrown into the mix, but now a new theory could change everything. In the latest episode of the ITV soap, we saw Will eager to put a temporary halt to their plans, after some big news.
The plan had been to renew his vows with Kim on Christmas Day, and in the middle of this he was set to reveal all. He wanted to hit her where it hurts, make her realise it was all a scam and bring her down – no doubt with Peter and the mystery boss revealing themselves.
So when Will found out his daughter Dawn Taylor and her family were due to move back into Home Farm and witness the second wedding, he was panicked. He’d told Kim he wanted it to only be them too to make it private, not wanting any guests.

Of course this was because he didn’t want to get Dawn or the kids involved, and didn’t want them to see what unfolded. So when Jai Sharma told Dawn and her partner Billy Fletcher they needed to move out of his home that they’d been renting, they told Kim and Will they needed to move back with them.
Kim was all for it, and even backed Dawn’s hopes to be there for the wedding. Knowing Will would not be keen she initially advised against it, but soon she was happy to know her stepdaughter wanted to be a part of the big moment – unaware of Will’s plans.
When Will learned about this and found out Kim had actually meddled to get Dawn back home, he was furious. Kim could not understand why he was so irate about it, wondering if he was having second thoughts.
But we then saw Will meet with Peter, who once again showed up at Home Farm not caring if he was caught, with Will begging him to halt things to protect Dawn. Now, viewers are wondering if this scene with Peter and his other visits to Home Farm could give away who he’s working with.
In a major revenge theory, could Kim secretly be plotting against Will? Could she be testing him to see whether he’s on her side or not, using Peter to do this? Might she be the mystery boss pulling the strings?
Viewers certainly think so, with one theory reading: “I think that Kim is getting Peter to get Will to do this to see if Will has changed or not.” After all, it’s a bit convenient that Kim is never there when Peter shows up!
