Emmerdale ‘confirms’ killer Ella’s next victim as unsuspecting villagers face her wrath
The GP receptionist, as viewers know, has grown suspicious of Liam’s behaviour as of late, catching him out in a number of lies.
Despite the fact that she split from the village doctor last month, Ella is keen to know what he’s hiding – and it didn’t take her long to join the dots after interrupting a clandestine meeting between him and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).
Determined to know all there is to know about Chas, Ella quizzed Mandy (Lisa Riley) on the landlady’s former relationship with Paddy (Dominic Brunt) – and she was horrified to learn of the affair with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).
Mandy filled her on how Chas conspired with Al to run away – with Eve in tow – behind Paddy’s back. Ella branded the situation ‘horrendous’, a sentiment that Mandy agreed with, stating that Chas has ‘got form’ when it comes to situations like this.
The beautician reminded Ella that Chas made a pass at Paddy just a few months ago, stating that she’d better have learnt her lesson by now – otherwise she’d ‘live to regret it’.
Ella’s expression grew sinister. ‘I’d feel exactly the same’, she said, with dark intentions in mind.
Having enough information to back-up her suspicions, Ella decided to follow Liam home to Tenant’s, where she found him with Chas. She berated the pair for sneaking around behind her back – despite the fact that she and Liam aren’t even together.
Chas and Liam apologised but Ella wasn’t in the mood to listen and thus stormed out, wasted little time in confiding inMandy, who told her that she would one day find someone more suited to her.
But will Ella let this go and move on? Or will her obsession with Liam continue? The look in her eye earlier in the episode certainly suggested revenge, so will this prove to be the case?
Are Liam and Chas in danger?
Ella, as viewers know, served time in prison for killing her best mate in a violent rage when she was just 11 years old. The character has come a long way since then, proving to be genuinely sorry for what she did.
She did, however, violently attack Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) in more recent scenes, so will Liam and Chas be the next in line to feel her wrath?
