Emmerdale’s Tom King caught out again in Amelia plot

Emmerdale‘s Tom King has been caught out again in the ongoing Amelia Spencer plot.

Tom has yet to face justice over his abuse of wife Belle, though many people in the village have become wary of him since Belle exposed his behaviour in September.

Despite Belle’s admission, the villain has maintained the support of his closest family members, including his uncle Jimmy, who accused Belle of lying.

However, Jimmy’s wife Nicola has become distrusting of Tom since moving back into the King family home.

Earlier this week, Tom also faced the wrath of Vanessa after he blackmailed his way back into the veterinary business.

Tonight’s (November 22) episode saw Amelia try to raise her boyfriend’s spirits as the villagers continued to shut him out.

“People seem to be forgetting that I’m the victim in all this,” Tom said, before Nicola uninvited him to Elliot’s football match.

A confused Amelia asked why everyone was being “mean”, with Tom explaining that he was “getting used to it”.

At the vets, Tom confronted Vanessa and Rhona for talking about him and reminded the pair that he was “going nowhere”.

“The least you two could do is be polite,” he said, with Vanessa defiantly replying: “The thing is, Tom, we’ve really tried, but we can’t.”

Later, Amelia headed over to the King house to try and seduce Tom, but he quickly rejected her, saying that she was acting like a “hooker”.

“Can you just have a bit of respect for yourself?” he shouted, before Amelia rushed out in tears, just as Nicola arrived home.

A furious Nicola then asked her nephew what had happened, with Tom explaining that Amelia was upset because he had said “no” to her advances – though Nicola wasn’t convinced.

“I’ll be telling Jimmy about this,” she warned, before storming out of the house. Will Jimmy listen to his wife’s concerns?
