George, Charlotte, Louis OVERJOYED As They Received Mom Catherine’s Surprise Halloween Gifts
This year’s Halloween promises to be a special occasion for Prince William and Princess Kate’s family, with their children on holiday from Lambrook School. Although Halloween is not a typical royal tradition, William and Kate have always wanted their children to experience the joys of a normal childhood, and Halloween is a part of that.
According to Grant Harold, former butler to King Charles, the young royals truly enjoy Halloween. As usual, Kate took time to prepare special treats for the holiday, crafting personalized gifts for each of her children. Each child received a handmade pumpkin lantern and a basket of colorful, decorated cookies, which not only embodied the Halloween spirit but also demonstrated Kate’s thoughtfulness and love.
This year, Kate invited her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, to join the family celebration. Carole, a big fan of seasonal holidays, has mentioned that Halloween is one of autumn’s highlights. Having her parents there not only adds joy for the children but also creates a warm family gathering, especially meaningful after a year of challenges.
The Wales family does not limit the celebration to their home; they also have a tradition of trick-or-treating around London. Residents near Kensington Palace have shared their surprise at seeing the royal family taking part just like any other family. One neighbor, J. Rutland, once remarked, “William and Kate are so down-to-earth. They even take their kids trick-or-treating like everyone else.”
Last year, Kate went shopping at a local store to pick out costumes for her children, showing her dedication to making the holiday special. “Family time is Kate’s priority,” Harold shared. “She always focuses on creating meaningful moments with her kids.”
This Halloween comes as a bright moment amid the challenges Kate has faced this year. In March, she publicly shared a serious health diagnosis. Nevertheless, she has continued to appear strong, balancing royal duties with resilience and grace. Recently, she met with a young cancer patient at Windsor Castle, showing her deep compassion.
While Kate’s royal schedule remains busy, from attending the Earthshot Prize in Cape Town to Remembrance Sunday in November, she consistently places family first. Whether they stay in or venture out for trick-or-treating, this Halloween is set to be a joyful occasion filled with laughter, warmth, and Kate’s special touch that brings family magic to life.
