Teen Mom star, Jenelle Evans is speaking out on the 911 fight with her boyfriend, August Keen. The audio was just released of the Las Vegas duo going at it with August trying to run from Jenelle. Now, she is clearing the air on what actually transpired that evening. Keep reading for Jenelle’s side of the situation.
Jenelle Evans Speaks Out On 911 Fight With Boyfriend
When Jenelle Evans decided to move from North Carolina to Las Vegas, she was excited to start over. Not only was she leaving her mother, Barbara behind but also her estranged husband, David Eason. She gathered her three children, Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley, and off they went. Fortunately, Jenelle’s manager and close friend, August Keen lived in Vegas and was willing to help get her acclimated. They had also flirted and it looked like they were headed toward a romantic relationship. The two denied anything was happening but it was clear they were together.
Then, on August 31st, the two had been at a hotel party in Vegas when they returned to Jenelle’s. Things allegedly got out of hand after she had eight to twelve cocktails. It prompted August to call the police and this is what he was heard saying:
“So, my girlfriend got super-drunk tonight, and she’s been hitting me all night. I’d like to be, just, protected to make sure that I grab my stuff. I just want to get out of the house safe. She keeps following me.”
He also claimed her children were there, as well and he did claim she was doing more than drinking:
“I don’t do drugs. She does do drugs. She takes pills, she smokes a lot of weed and she drinks a lot.”
Charges were not pressed against Jenelle and now, a month and a half later, she is speaking out on the incident. According to Too Fab, they are focused on moving forward not looking behind:
“Me and August have been best friends for so many years. We have argued less th[an] 5 times within 7-8 years. Our bond is so much stronger th[a]n one bad night. That night is far behind us and we’re just focused on future possibilities.”
August Has His Say
Though the Teen Mom star cleared the air, her boyfriend still had to have his say. August Keen spoke out to Us Weekly on Friday, October 11th, and said this about what happened:
“Me and Jenelle have moved past this and are in a really good place right now. There’s so much to look forward to, and we’re just focused on the future and family. We have some exciting things coming up and can’t wait to share.”
He has also clarified what he meant when he said Jenelle Evans was using pills. She takes prescribed anxiety medication so those were the alleged pills. However, there is one discrepancy in the whole incident. The 911 call alleged her three kids were at the home where he needed to be escorted to gather his stuff. August then said he and Jenelle were not at home and the kids were not around:
“And I want to make it clear that no children were around nor were we at her house at time of disagreement. We were out late and kids were at home asleep.”
