Angel Reese and Chicago Sky Face a Tough Journey Home After a Painful Loss

Angel Reese của Chicago Sky đang chờ trận đấu tiếp tục trong giải WNBA...

When a team loses a game on the road the only thing that can make the players feel better is a quick trip back home. There is a saying that goes “it’s going to be along trip” when this scenario occurs and sadly this is exactly what happened to Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky.

They lost to the Mercury in Phoenix by a score of 86 to 67 in the Sky’s third game since the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. After a one-month break and returning to activity, they wanted another win for their record but after this loss the team headed to the airport to catch the flight back home, but things got weird.

Things went sideways so much that Angel Reese posted an interesting message on X, formerly known as Twitter, very early in the morning. “Why is it 3:47am and we still not home???,” she wrote and that got everyone preoccupied.

Fans started to wonder what was going on

One fan replied that message saying, “real question is why are you awake lol.” Then Reese talked about the situation through Diamon DeShield and her Instagram so that everyone could see the stories she posted.

“We got off the plane – well, we didn’t get off the plane. We were sitting on, like, the landing area and they told us our bus was an hour away,” DeShield posted and explained. “They said we had to walk through the airport, get our luggage off of a conveyor belt and now we’re outside waiting for Ubers to take us home at whatever time it is.”

She also posted a video of her teammates as they were all in the airport at 3:11am and later followed up with a selfie of her at the gym just five hours after that as she showed her and her team’s determination despite the bad trip back.
